In the end, it was not to be a clash of the titans. In the second year of an old boys division, the Gentlemen of New York were able to split into two squads, roughly along a great historical divide of New York vs Manhattan. While we were strong in numbers and brave in heart, we nevertless both were 0-fer in the tournament...

He gets the award for driving the farthest, bringing the most fans and oh yeah, for pretty much single-handedly providing our backfield offense. On A Fine day in Denville - Gentleman of New York vs Morris, Denville, NJ Oct. 6 A scheduling conflict at Randall's Island sent the Gents to the pitch that boasts the tallest goal posts in the East, plenty of free parking, real grass and clearly defined lines.
