Take the LIRR to Brentwood - 68 minutes from Penn Station
- Trains leaving every hour on the :16 starting at 6:16am
- Off peak one-way ticket is $9.75 if you buy before boarding (and $15 if you get it on the train)

The Brentwood Train Station is 2.6 miles from the fields. You have the following options to get between the station and the tournament: - Call someone at the fields and have them pick you up - 6-7 minute drive (DIRECTIONS)
- Take a taxi from the station (Taxi # - 631-436-7272) and tell the driver you are going to the Suffolk County Community College Athletic fields on Wicks Rd, just south of the LIE.
- Take the 3A Suffolk County Transit bus from the station to just past the SCCC Campus (15 minute ride - details here - www.sct-bus.org)

On a sunny day at Randalls Island 20 college and U19 rugby teams gathered for the 2007 annual Big Apple Classic rugby tournament. The winners were as follows: Mens Championship: Albright College, Mens Plate: SUNY Buffalo, Mens Bowl: Fordham University, Womens Championship: Fordham, U19 boys: Long Island. Thank you to everyone who came out to play, run and ref the tournament. |

Rain, sleet, hail, and Rugby! The Big Apple Classic went ahead on Saturday, April 8th, with enormous enthusiasm considering the weather. Some strong performances were put in by teams that may have been more unknown quantities, with the weather possibly being the leveller. |
