The Big Apple Classic went ahead on Saturday, April 8th, with enormous enthusiasm considering the weather. Some strong performances were put in by teams that may have been more unknown quantities, with the weather possibly being the leveller. More details HERE

The winners of the 2005 Big Apple Classic Collegiate Tournament were Kutztown University in the mens division and Fordham University women. Both competitiions proved extremely competitive and it was good to see the womens competition was such a success on its inception. Kutztown beat the University of Rhode Island in the men's final while Fordham came through against Delaware for the women.
