26 teams have registered for the 2008 Big Apple Classic, to be held Saturday April 28 at the Suffolk County Community College's Brentwood Campus on Long Island. With twelve teams in the mens and four in the womens, the college division contains many teams who joined us in last years Classic. The Under 19 divisions have expanded considerably since 2007 when just New York and Long Island entered and now encompasses six boys and four girls teams. With the increased competition we hope to build on the achievements of past tournaments and make the Big Apple Classic the very best junior (College and High School) rugby tournament in New York.
