The Big Apple Classic began in 1995 as the first tournament of it's kind in New York for mens collegiate teams. In 2006 the tournament opened up to womens college teams and in 2007 we introduced a Boys U19 division. We are introducing a Girls U19 division in 2008 with the firm goal of making the Big Apple Classic the premier junior rugby tournament in New York.
