The NYRC is happy to welcome the BROOKLYN DRAGONS to the New York Rugby Club Family.... Brooklyn Dragons  Brooklyn Dragons is a co-ed Youth Rugby group based in Prospect Park, Brooklyn. the founders are two British ex-pats. They host clinics for girls and boys aged 5-11 yrs, with the goal of gathering enough support to start a mini-league.

The NYRC also supports PLAY RUGBY  Play Rugby runs Flag Rugby After School programs throughout New York City and needs volunteers to coach. Play Rugby offers coach training which will be linked to USA Rugby accreditations for those people that would like to volunteer their time on weekends or be paid to coach afterschool programs.
Play Rugby organizes weekend flag rugby (non-contact) clinics. They are on certain Sundays for 1.5 hour for ages 5-16, starting in the Spring. Dates to be finalized (visit Play Rugby website).
