This weekend NYM player Brian Fitzgerald recorded his first points for his Rugby Super League team. Saturday was a make-up day of rugby where teams were playing games re-scheduled due to inclement weather on the opening day of the season.

Fitzy recently signed on to NYAC for the RSL season after a successful trip to the NASC with the NRU All Star Development team. NYAC had multiple players down with injuries and NA4 callups so were expecting a big test from Washington who did not have the same problem. NYAC beat Washington 43-10 at Travers Island with Fitzy contributing 3 conversions for a personal haul of 6 points, congratulations from all at NYM and NYRC!!
