There have been numerous rumours surrounding a possible tour. Today you will be pleased to know that we can confrim that we are planning a tour to Brazil to take in both Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

The purpose of this email is to give you a high level overview of the proposed tour, dates, cost and itinerary. What we need from you is an email response (to this email address) to confirm that you are interested.

Once we have an idea of numbers we can begin to plan the trip more fully and begin to arrange fundraisers and so on. The sooner we get the ball rolling, the better organized and more fun the trip will be.

The cost of the trip will be $1,500 (less whatever we can raise through fundraising and possible multiple traveller discounts).

Dates: 9-10 days probably at the end of May/middle of June 2008
We hope to take in two cities, Sao Paolo and Rio de Janeiro although this may not be feasible and is subject to change. While in Rio de Janeiro we are looking to stay in the four star beach front Hotel Praia Ipanema. (Chris G checked it out - its nice).

Various trips have been proposed and will be confirmed once we have an idea of interest and firm commitment. A few of these include beach parties, beach rugby, a trip to the statue of Christ the Redeemer and so on.
