It was a hot, humid weekend in Wilmington, NC...definitely the kind of weather that the tight five should be running around playing 7's in!...

The weekend of July 7th our 15's front row of Annie Collier, Audie, Lisa Lake, Robin O'Hare, Molly Dengler, 2nd rows Lara Vivolo, Carrie Dubray and Kat Bounds as well as winger Mira Serrill-Robins and a guest appearance by PK Knight herself.....stormed the pitch and made a name for themselves. Not necessarily because of our winning record, we finished 1-3, but because of the awsome mauling, tackles, and persistence that took place in all our games! We played hard, sang NY NY, and had a blast at the Cape Fear tournament. We have named officially named ourselves "Blue Love" and hope to make appearances at future 7's tournaments.......Hong Kong, here we come!

Congratulations also to Phaidra, Daniela, Alison, Maura, and Brafman who played for the Northeast All-Stars in Fear's extremely competitive Women's Elite Division (made up of Midwest, West, MARFU, South, and NRU All Star Teams plus an Atlantis invitational side). The division has come to be THE warm-up for the Women's All Star 7s National Championships, and the Northeast came out 3rd.
