 The NY Women took 2nd place at the NJ 7s on July 21, beating Southern NY, Monmouth and Morris in pool play, PA Posse in the semis, and then falling to an NRU Development side in the finals...
Scores for the day (scores are all approximate): Pool Play NY 29 - SNY 0
NY 24 - Monmouth 10
NY 41 - Morris 0
Cup Semis - NY 24 - PA Posse 12

Memorable Moments from Frank the Tank...
- Carrie getting a yellow card for a "high tackle" when really it was just that Carrie was taller and stronger than the girl and basically just pushed her over...
- I enjoyed making one tackle for the day - taking down Flateman only to get totally schooled by her a few plays later as she flew by me to score...
- Warm up being us walking onto the field...
- Asking to Boat Race the NRU for the final instead of playing, and the ref saying "there will be no boat racing" as he called the captains for the coin toss...
Overall a great day for the club - the guys had 2 sides in as well, with a lot of our boys' U-19s getting playing time - full club picture below:
