New York Developmental XV 41-05 Hudson Valley Rebels Motley XV...

On a cool, but sunny day, the New York Developmental Squad showed up in numbers with Senior Squad players in support and on field-lining and water running duties. Due to the lack of players the visitors, Hudson Valley Rebels, were only eight strong and needed to get assistance to get up to full strength. Thanks so much to the following who played for The Rebels:

NEW YORK DEVELOPMENTAL XV versus HUDSON VALLEY REBELS MOTLEY

It was pretty obvious that the Orange and Blue was in for a good day when stand out flanker , Jenny Davis, finished a great team phase of play in the first two minutes to put NY up 5-0. Three great finishing tries from “Twiggs” Carlson, Zania Campos and Heather VanDerHoop, put the first half and the game out of reach for the visitiors even though they should be commended for their great efforts.

After making sure the reserves were all going to get time, New York came out of the half time period blazing with a second try from Carlson that was converted by VanDerHoop. The Rebels never gave up and were rewarded by scoring a good try. One more try each from Carlson and Campos put the final score at 41-5.
