Good news. The field at Inwood Park was fixed up a bit just for us. It won’t be Yankee Stadium grass, but it might just be a level playing field. I have a handful of confirmations for this Saturday’s game so let me know that you are coming. We started off with a good showing at the Old Boys Spring Festival keep the Gents alive and make the commitment to keep our team going. Bring your buddies. We need to be ready to play at 10:30am so arrive at 10am. We lose the field at noon so to get in a full old boys game we must start on time!...
The field is Inwood Park. This is way up in the northern tip of Manhattan, our field is the big open soccer field with goalposts, HERE (mapquest it if you need better directions into Manhattan) Arrive early, parking is limited. If you enter the park at 214th street and Indian Road there is a rotunda with parking for just a few cars, after that your parking in the street. BE EARLY. Once there, the field is past the softball fields and near the nature center. See you Saturday, Cheers, Dave
