NYM were proud to host Carrera Petrarca's development XV at Pier 40 last Saturday. The Italians showed why they are the development XV for a professional team by racking up a large win and playing with pace and flair. The match was played in great spirit and was a great experience for NYM.

Carrera Petrarca brought some 30-odd players on tour from Padova, Italy, in a cultural exchange trip that really showed the essence of rugby. They got walk the streets and see the sights of New York City for a week, while playing one game with us as their hosts. We hope their young players return to Italy with happy memories of a great trip and we hope to accept their invitation for a return trip to Padova in the near future. This game also marked the last games for our brothers Depah-ted, Brian "Dosi" Piantedosi and Tom "Trainwreck" Lorenzen. They will be missed as they move on to further their careers.
