We are thrilled to announce that the 2009 Big Apple Classic will be held on 6 newly renovated pitches on Randall's Island.

Randall's has been undergoing massive renovations, and while they still continue over much of the island, there is now a whole complex of brand new regulation size fields available for the New York Rugby Club's use! These fields are all state-of-the-art field turf (same stuff used in Giants Stadium and in the All Black's practice facility) and promise a whole new experience to those coming to this year's BAC!

We will be using fields numbered 70, 72, 73, 74, 75, and 90/91 on this MAP. These fields are accessible not only by personal vehicles (parking available on Randall's Island) but also directly from Manhattan via the 103rd Street Pedestrian Bridge, which makes the tournament an easy trip for players and fans alike.
