The Gentlemen of New York announce their spring season. As always we start with the spring festival in Monmouth and finish with the Old Poltroons return visit to NYC...

Here is is lads, your spring schedule:

For some reason this season was especially tough to put together. But here is what I have:

• March 28 - Old Boys Spring Festival in Monmouth.
• April 4 - AWAY at the Connecticut Greys, with the Village Lions and the Boston Old Boys. They will be loaded at home with at least 30 guys dying to play.
• April 18 tba – we have a field at Randalls but as yet no opponent to come to play us. I am trying to fill this date. It will be at Randalls. Anyone wants to come to Randalls and play, they are in.
• May 2 vs the Lions at Randalls. This is Friends and Family Day for the New York Rugby Club. That means there will be all teams present and lots of food and drink. As always a great team day for kids and families.
• May 16  The Return of the Old Poltroons. They are back again and looking for revenge. This will again be at Randalls.
  

If you missed it, we beat White Plains in NY 7’s. Next year the old boys division will be over 40, over 250 or a forward. That should help us. We need more old boys teams to make this work.
