NYRC kicked off the spring season this past weekend at the Four Leaf Tournament on Randalls Island. Boasting a roster of 21, NYRC completed a rugby-packed day as finalists in the tournament, losing to Beantown in the championship match. Five women played their first game for the NYRC, as the team rolled past Suffolk and Albany in pool play and beat tournament hosts the Village Lions in the semi-final. Congratulations to all the women for a terrific start to the season, and thanks to Heidi Rubenstein, who, for the second year in a row, took on head coaching duties for the Four Leaf Tournament...
