The New York Rugby Club

The New York Rugby Club is the oldest rugby club in the United States, and fields highly

competitive Division I Men's and Women's teams, U-19 Boy's and Girls teams, as well as a Master's side. The NYRC was founded to continue a tradition of excellence, sportsmanship and fun, on and off the field, that dates back to the formation of the NYRFC in 1929. We value our ties to a large alumni network as much as we strive to focus on the development of youth, high school, and collegiate rugby players in the greater New York metropolitan area. And always we work to develop our active players - numbering well over 100 men and women of all ages - and give all levels of players and fans the opportunity to enjoy the best of what the game can offer.

The New York Rugby Club has begun fundraising $20,000 to help four young men from the Bronx who have been selected to attend the prestigious Natal Sharks international rugby program in Durban, South Africa from July 6 to 28...

NYM is going to Brasil on tour this May to play Niteroi and Rio Rugby Clubs. We are holding a fundraiser prior to going to help raise funds for the tour. the details of which are on the flyer opposite - bring yourselves and your friends, the more the merrier!

There will also be a raffle with prizes such a baseball tickets, Whisky, Patron, rugby jerseys and more...Contact your favorite tourist or Andrew Mezo to buy raffle tickets ahead of time.

NYM Announce Player Exchange with Australian Premier Grade Team

NYM has entered into a player exchange agreement with West Brisbane Bulldogs in Australia. Each summer between June and August we will be looking to send 2-3 of our most promising young American players to their Club. There they will train and play alongside top flight players, some of whom will be Queensland Reds and Australian National Team members.
