Joining Stack TeamApp

We manage our availability, rosters, and games through the free Stack TeamApp. All players MUST join this to participate on the team.

  1. Install the app from here (Android and IOS).

  2. From the app, click Log in or Sign Up. Use an Apple/Google/Facebook login choice if you can, or supply an email then a password.

    1. If you haven’t used this email with another Stack TeamApp before, it will ask you to create an account; say Yes.

  3. After completing the signup, click Find your Team / Club, and enter “NYRC Men”. You can also click https://nyrcmen.teamapp.com/ from a browser.

  4. Click Request to join this team’s app.

  5. Select the General Players group.

    1. Include your real, full name. If you have a nickname everyone knows you by, you can include it in quotes like: John “Meatsauce” Wimbledon

    2. Select I agree to provide my membership details. We need this so we can identify you for rosters.

    3. Be sure to include your Residency Status and USA Rugby ID (CIPP). If you don’t include those, you won’t be rostered. If you don’t have them now, you can add them later (but you must do this).

Pay Dues

Paying dues are critical to club functioning; fields, vans, coaches, refs, and everything else are supported primarily by dues, with support from the greater club. Dues are $220 for each season (Fall and Spring), owed in installments.

  1. $110 owed by first game.

  2. Remaining $110 ($220 total) owed by third game.

You pay your dues via the website shop. You must notify the team treasurer at men-dues@newyorkrugby.com when you’ve paid your dues. If you need help or another way to pay, email the team treasurer.

Register USA Rugby (CIPP)

You must register with USA Rugby to be able to train and play games. You absolutely cannot play without registering. When you register, you’ll get a USA Rugby ID number, also called a CIPP number; you must add this to your TeamStack profile so the coaches have access to it.

  1. Go to https://myaccount.rugbyxplorer.com.au

  2. Enter in your personal email (NOT an admin/general email)

    • You may see “You don't have a Rugby ID,” not to worry as once you enter more details the system will be able to pair you with your imported profile

  3. Select sign me up, and you will be redirected to enter in your personal details

    • MAKE SURE that USAR National is selected and not Rugby Australia. If you see “We have found some profiles that might be you!” Please select your profile and click continue.

    • After you have completed the process, you will be redirected to the Rugby Xplorer profile homepage

    Once you have created your page you need to register with NYRC

  4. Login to your Member Profile

  5. Select Register in the upper left hand corner

  6. Click on Find A Club

  7. Select the person you are planning to register (you may have children as linked accounts)

  8. Enter the “New York Rugby (NYRC)”

  9. Choose role “Player”, registration type “Senior Club”, duration “Season”.

  10. Finish all the remaining questions and complete payment.

  11. Record your USA ID (CIPP) number and add it to your Team app profile.
